Title: Crossing The Sea.
When I painted "Crossing the Sea" I was almost 7months pregnant and full of so many emotions.
Will I be a good mother? Whats in store for our future? This painting is tremendously meaningful for me symbolically. The white horse means hope and aspiration. The water that carries the two to unknown (uncharted) horizons symbolizes faith. Faith is also seen in the relaxed ease in which the woman holds on, closes her eyes and lets go of anxiety of the unknown. She has completely
given herself to her faith in the universe and all it has to offer.
